Shopify Store Owners: Don't ignore this update

๐Ÿšจ "Shopify Store Owners: Don't Wait Until the Last Minute"

If your Shopify store still uses the "legacy Thank You" or "Order Status" pages, it's time to plan your upgrade.

"By August 26, 2026, Shopify requires non-Plus stores using legacy post-purchase page customizations to migrate to the new pages."

After that, legacy customizations will no longer be supported, and stores that haven't upgraded will be automatically transitioned.

Before you upgrade, check these:

โœ… Audit your current Thank You and Order Status page customizations.
โœ… Review apps that rely on "Additional Scripts" or other legacy code.
โœ… Confirm your "GA4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and other tracking" work with "Web Pixels".
โœ… Update any custom code or third-party integrations.
โœ… Test the entire post-purchase experience before going live.

This isn't just another Shopify update.

Many stores use these pages for conversion tracking, surveys, loyalty programs, upsells, and post-purchase offers.

Miss one dependency, and you could lose valuable data without realizing it.

If you manage multiple storesโ€”or work with Shopify clientsโ€”now is the perfect time for a checkout audit.

A few minutes of preparation today can save hours of troubleshooting later.

Have you already upgraded your stores, or are you still planning your migration? Let me know in the comments.
